Is oral CBD oil helpful for nerve pain?

Can you tell me what ratio you are taking? I started taking 20:1 cbd/thc a month ago for chronic pain and haven’t been able to see any improvement. Still taking Tramadol 4 x/day.

I like a 1:1 ratio but the strain will matter too. I started with 5mg but I also take lyrica for my nerve pain.

I found CBD on its own good for helping me sleep which in turn helped me hurt less and be more able to cope. From that I decided to get a private prescription for THC/CBD as it was recommended for nerve pain amongst others. I haven't reduced my pain from that level yet, but I’ve been able to come off of significant amounts of other drugs that were for my pain, so thats a reserved yes for me.

CBG, a different form of non-psychoactive cannabis that is related to CBD (but operates on different neuro-receptors), may help with nerve pain. I am trying 50 mg of THC GBG by tincture and it seems to help. Good luck!

Hi Erin, @erin123, Thank you for that info. I bought so many bottles of the 20-1 tincture on a black friday sale. I can't use it until I get off my last .25 day of Xanax, Can not do the CBD with it as it enhances it. After lots of research I found what you're saying is true, CBG should work better for what I'm trying to do. Just ordered some from Selah Organics. My hope is it helps me get off this xanax soon. For a little pill it is a beast! I did the tramadol withdrawal it was not fun.

Where do you buy your CBG 50 mg..The only product that I can find with CBG is with Cbd 20 mg and cbg 10 mg. I live in Canada would I be able to order the CBG from the states.

I took it for two years,but I could not get good advice on amount to take for low back pain. I added d8 thc,quit to fast causing severe panic attacks now afraid to self advise. My drs say ok to do but do not want to get involved.

I never had any luck taking the CBD plus in PA is is a very tough system to get and very expensive.

Oral CBD oil and capsules helped my husband's neuropathy nerve pain a great deal.
