Hydatid of Morgagni
I had a Salpingo-Oophorectomy & a cystectomy abdominally with 20 staples 🥺😭 and no pain meds were given on Tuesday the 28th & I got my results back today saying the right adnexal mass was a Hydatid of Morgagni which I have never heard of and the left side was a Hemorrhagic cyst. I don't guess these are bad things like anything cancerous? I'm thinking not though.

Oh hi! I was wondering how you were doing? How are you feeling? Was your surgery laparoscopic? I guess not cuz you have 20 staples. Did they do biopsy and you were waiting your pathology report.
Are you in pain? Please reply. I’m still thinking if I should do the surgery. 🙄
It's been a very painful recovery for me 😭 My Dr cut me from literally one end to the other through my c sections scars abdominally & removed the tumor, ovary, fallopian tube, & another cyst on the right side plus a tubal ligation clip & millions of adhesions. He said it looked like someone poured a bottle of gorilla glue in my stomach 🥺. He said my hips are so messed up & my pelvis is super tiny. Explains why I never had natural births. I was in the hospital from Tuesday till Thursday. He sent me home with only a prescription for ibuprofen & I'm not gonna lie, this pain has been excruciating 😪 The report I got today said it was a Hydatid of Morgagni/paratubal cyst & a Hemorrhagic cyst. I see him Wednesday so I will have him explain it all to me. Still in so much pain! 😭
Oh my. Hope you feel better soon. Do you know why he didn’t opt for laparoscopic surgery? It would have been an easier recovery. Keep me posted on your appointment on Wednesday.
I’m still waiting for a surgery date.
I have no idea. I guess he didn't know what he was dealing with & he was afraid it was cancer but I agree it would of been a way easier recovery than what I'm going thru right now. I'm slowly moving around better but in pain & he told me not to lift anything heavier that a 16.9 oz water bottle for 2 weeks. I have to have help laying down and getting up in bed because it's to painful to use my abdominal muscles. But I will eventually get back to being and feeling normal. It's just been really rough. I hope u get a surgery date soon and I will definitely let u know tomorrow my appointment goes 🤗
Hi ! I’m just wondering how your appointment went today. What did the doctor say?
I’m still waiting for my surgery date. Although in a way I don’t want to do this surgery. I’m scared that something will go wrong and that my other organs will be destroyed? Am I nuts of thinking like this? Anyway whenever you can please let me how the appointment went. Thanks.
Oh my appointment went very well. He took the staples out. I heard him clip them, felt him pull them out, I was cringing lol. It stung & hurt a little bit. Felt like it took him forever to get to the 20th staple! He said there is no cancer that everything looked good which is awesome!! He told me I can go back to my normal activities. I am still sore as this will take me some time to fully recover & not feel anymore pain. I really hope that you get your surgery soon. I know you don't want to maybe do it. I completely understand stand that because I felt the same exact way. I don't want to also have to deal with this pain I'm feeling & now I even wonder if this surgery was necessary with the type of mass & cyst I had. Wouldn't a CT been able to tell type had I been given one? You are not nuts for thinking the way you do. There's always a fear of something going wrong but I had to give my fear to God & asked him to not let anything go wrong to let this surgery go smoothly. I'm definitely going to be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please reach out to me anytime you need to.
So happy that you got great news !! I am wishing you a speedy recovery! Will let you know when I get a date 🙄. Who knows when. I know deep down inside I need to do so I can get to the bottom of this and with the help of God everything will go well. 🙏 keep you posted.
