My bowel also farts air....you might want to monitor what you eat. Try to stay away from gassy foods in excess, beans, soft drinks, too many eggs, cabbage, onions, brussels sprouts, etc. Don't have to stop eating them but not in excess. You can also buy through Amazon, deodorant for your bag that you squirt in the bag through the port hole, that allows it not to smell when you open the cap to let out the gas or air that has accumulated. I also use it when I am emptying the bag to help it slide down and out better. What I use is Brava Ostomy Deodorant Lubricating liquid. I squirt some, ( just a little....half an eye dropper full maybe ), into my bag when I change it to a new one or before I empty an existing one. Check it out. I find a lot of things to help out on Amazon. Kathy

Watery diarrhea was my only symptom that something was wrong and lead to my first colonoscopy that found cancer.
I had the watery diarrhea for many months before my resection and I have continued to have the same for 9 months after surgery.
Actually, every time I think that things are getting better, I have another tremendous episode like yesterday while in Walmart.
I frequent the same places most of the time and I absolutely know where the restrooms are.
I do not have a bag. Diarrhea is my only problem. I have noticed that gas seems to get trapped and causing bloating.
And yes, when it does let loose, it is best to be at home.
I would imagine a follow-up with your doctor is in order.
Stay on it and get help.
