hi dmanduca,
I'm thinking about the Marodyne LiV, but hesitate because of the cost. How long have you been using it and have you had a DEXA since then that shows improvement? Or do we need a trabecular bone scan to see results?
I'm taking Fosamax now, but would like to use as many treatment modalities as possible to decrease my fracture risk.
Thanks!

I’ve only had it for a month so I haven’t had a Dexa recently. I’m on my 4th Evenity shot. Not too helpful to you but I’m feeling strong. It is pricey but I felt I needed to make the investment.

Hi mistea,
I would encourage you to purchase the Marodyne LiV. I have had mine for about 5 months and use it twice a day for 10 minutes. I can feel the difference in my strength from using it. Check out Margaret Martin for more information on the device. She interviews the scientist, Dr. Rubin, who invented the Marodyne LiV for astronauts to use to regain their bone density. You may also be able to get a discount through her site. I have two of Margaret's books and have watched many of her videos. She has helped me so much.
My bone density DEXA scan showed my spine at borderline osteoporosis. I declined to take the prescription medicine. That is why I purchased the device. My husband uses it also, even though he does not have osteoporosis. I am not due for a repeat scan until 2024, but am considering paying out of pocket for another one to be done sooner.
