So, just so I understand correctly, when you have LPR, can it also reflux up as high as your frontal sinuses. Because I am also suffering from constant nasal drip, and inability to breathe through my nose, which comes and goes, and is especially bad in the eve.. If I cannot breathe through my nose, I have a anxiety attack. I have self medicated with nose spray, Mucinex, Vicks, neosinephryn, Tylenal severe sinus, humidifier, Neilmed sinus wash, and if it helps, it is only for a very short period. If this is so, why does GI tell me they have never heard of this?? Some days I just sit and cry, and pray.

Yes! It is called silent reflux also. There is plenty of information in this thread. GI doctors many times prescribe drugs that are not necessarily appropriate for this condition, like PPI’s.

Dr. Jamie Koufman has written numerous helpful books but you can also sign up for her blog, which addresses quite a few topics.

Best wishes to you! Cindy

Hi,
Please YouTube and Google: apple cider treatment for LPR. Really gave me some relief from the symptoms you describe, as well as being a cheap solution!,,

This sounds exactly like me. I had a panic attack because I was unable to breathe. I went to the ER. They told me I have acid reflux but after tests and no heartburn I have LPR. The GI doctor just wants to treat me with ppi meds. Have have been on 3 different ones because they do not work for me. Not sure what to do. Have you found any relief?
