Hi my heart rate is low but when I stand up it goes too high. I have low blood pressure which has dropped to 50 over 42 when I stand up. Some times I fall down. I am on meds now though. Just a couple of weeks ago my heart started to feel weird and it felt like there was so much pressure in my head. When I went to the hospital, I was driving when it happened, my blood pressure was 245 over 145. They hooked me up and just caught the end of it. Was sent to do a cardio stress test which was fine except for the low blood pressure. My heart went into a abnormal heart rhythm when I was in the hospital, which was for something else. These abnormal rhythms only happen when I am not doing anything. The Dr in the hospital wants my Dr to send me to see a cardio Dr. The low blood pressure only started happening after I recovered from septic shock. Anyone have any ideas what could be going on? Also my mother died of cardiac arrest when she was 57.
