Both osteopenia and spondylolisthesis- exercises?

What exercises do you do if you have BOTH spondylolisthesis AND osteopenia? I am receiving PT mostly to try to relieve lumbar pain and the PT, who is a DPT, has read my records, knows what my scans and DEXA look like, etc. but I’m interested in hearing from others who have both conditions

I have spondylolisthesis, osteopenia and SI joint issues. I have gotten help from my chiropractor and physical therapist. The best thing the chiropractor has done for me, in my opinion, was to tell me no exercising at all for months. This allowed my spine, muscles etc...to rest. My PT had me start with basic glute squeezes and abdominal bracing only. She very gradually added in a few other exercises, all basic and simple. We discussed on several occasions what I COULD and COULD NOT do in terms of exercises and regular activity. I have had these back problems for 12 years this is the first real long lasting help I have received thanks to both the chiropractor and PT.

Why, no exercising for just a few months as it’s not going to get any better or go away? Also what other exercises are you doing that won’t cause more slipping? Thank you

How long did you refrain from exercising? And how long has your current relief lasted?
