We run 2-3 humidifiers because the air is so dry. Its to help some ailments. It didn’t occur to me that it could help dry eye. I’ve had dry eye for over 23 years. I’ve had punctual plugs (a help), restasis (could not tell if they helped), individual use eye drops, lubrication at night at times (helped, helped). When I use moisturizing eye drops it helps improve vision. I hope you feel better. If you are using a computer, when looking at the screen, try to blink more often. Believe it or not, it makes a difference. Hope you feel better.

OMEGA FISH OIL Supplements- weird, but helping me!

I have an autoimmune disease, with dry eyes, but not nearly as bad as described by some of the posts here.

An optician recommended drops, humidifier, compresses-- all the usual-- AND fish oil supplements, which surprised me. I didn't really comply with the fish oil.

Then, my cardiologist told me to take fish oil, too. So I started taking them. Since the time I started being really compliant with the fish oil supplements, the dry eyes have improved! Noticeably! It took a couple of months to see the results in my eyes, but now I can tell if I've skipped the supplement (which I do sometimes, unfortunately. I take a lot of pills and sometimes I just can't take another one...You probably know the feeling.)

Good luck, everybody!
