I think Prolia is strong enough to help your body stop the bone from getting worse. I like the fact that it works slowly.

Were you taking a supplement with Strontium in it?
I was on Prolia for at least 8 years. The doctor wanted to transition me to Evenity, but after the 2 injections I developed really bad back pain and the injection sites swelled up. I'm not sure I want to have more bone with Evenity as it was rumored that some of the drugs that make bone cause cancer in rats. My doctor actually took an advertising ad out of his office that said one of these drugs that make bone did cause cancer in rats. He said that it wasn't a proven outcome, but it was enough to scare me away from drugs that actually make bone.

That’s awesome. How long has it been since you took Prolia? And what osteo-med did you take after you quit taking Prolia? And has your BMD stabilized, meaning have you kept the gains from the Prolia?
