On top of everything, my skin has....morphed?

Posted by mindfulintentions @mindfulintentions, Feb 5, 2023

So my skin had changed about 6 months ago, became very thick feeling. Like rubber almost to the touch.

Out of nowhere one half of my face turned to velvet....and started...not melting but dissolving upon touch. Like barely grab it and it unravels. So after about 12 hours.....my whole face was the same. Pockets in my cheek full of random things.

I immediately scrambled because I havent had a skin issue in YEARS. I put aloe on it....immediately hardened back up....and no joke miracle healed wounds shut in like 20 to 40mins.

My skin has been entirely unrelated i thought...but I have never been able to watch it change consistency or have pockets full of random surprises. It also had round patch like sores that if i touched...would like unravel to another area of my face?

Anyone have anything familiar I am totally confused its been like a week and it has not returned to normal or rubber thickness....using ALL of the aloe and avoiding contact. Painful doesnt begin to describe. ☹️

Anyone recognize these? As you can see the left is "healed" but is missing interior flesh. The right has been like that over a week and doesnt want to heal.

I understand we are in a public group and cant diagnose etc etc. Anyone recognize skin like this. My face is full of masses, hard to swallow, these lesions are all over my face and neck. To say I am in pain is a VAST understatement.

@mindfulintentions Gosh, that must be uncomfortable for you.

You mention this is restricted to face and neck? The first thing that comes to mind is some type of allergic reaction. Perhaps to a new cleanser/lotion for your face? Perhaps to a new pillow/contents/pillowcase? Have you considered these things? Are you doing a course of any new medication?

If it has been a week, have you been able to get in touch with your primary care doctor for an appointment? I would be interested to see what they might have to say.

This looks exactly like my skin condition which started 2 days after my UV ink tattoo. Were you exposed to anything phosphorescent before these started?
