What is salt substitute? How much sugar in teaspoons can I have per day. I am 84 years old and have been in stage 3 for 10 years.

Doctors told me I am in a good place when I was in stage 3a. I do not use a salt substitute but I am careful about sugar. Don't actually count teaspoons. Some days I do not eat any. I am 95.
