I have had 3 of my 6 treatments of chemo. I have been fortunate with relatively few side effects. I have about 2 really good days, I believe due to the steroid given before the Doxetaxel. Then I have 4 or 5 days of EXTREME fatigue. I sleep 12 hours at night and then may nap during the day as well. Then gradually get back to my normal by the time of the next treatment. I am losing hair - no big deal as I was pretty thin on top anyway!

Hi,
I am into my second three weekly cycles (out of ten) and I have the same side effects as you, with extreme fatigue as the worst one. Days three to seven seems to be the worst, then gradually improves until the next cycle starts. I am also losing my hair (the hair that I had left when starting the treatment).
At least, it doesn't hurt when it is falling out. I have also noticed that I lose my breath when climbing stairs now.
