I've been taking synthroid medicine at night for over 50 years at bedtime. I had one problem when I took Tums with the synthroid. I wound up having a fast heartbeat. You never take it together. I started having skipped heart beats recently and wonder if the cause is taking synthroid with Areds 2. Has anyone had this experience?

Regarding taking thyroid medications. I was directed to take nothing with Levothyroxine. So I set aside my pill before bedtime then take it when I get up to urinate at night. In that way one can absorb its full strength. Hope this helps.
