My thyroid was removed over 15 years ago due to thyroid cancer. My bloodwork has always been fine for all those years on the same dose, but now it is hard to regulate for some reason.

Not to worry. You will find a balance. You just have to find the right does for you this may take a few more test than usual until th doctor finds the right med for you!
I have my checked every six months to make sure it is stable.
