Hello @starrh911 Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Members in the forum are not medical professionals so we can’t interpret test results or diagnosis medical conditions. Only your doctor is able to do that.
Looks like you had recent blood work and the results popped up on your patient portal. Were you having symptoms that led you to having blood tests?
having felt good since before Thanksgiving
Oh gosh, that’s a long time not to be feeling well. When the tests say things like, unremarkable or no diagnostic immuno phenotypic abnormalities detected, that is generally a good result to see. But this will need to be gone over with your doctor. There also may be more results coming from blood work. It looks like your doctor is being very thorough. 🙂
Again, we can’t diagnose or interpret results in this forum but I’d like keep in touch with you to see what your doctor has to say. I’m sure it’s frustrating for you and you’re wanting to get an answer soon. Usually when you see things on a portal, it takes a couple of days to have your doctor read and give you a report…that waiting is so hard!
Let me know what you find out, ok? Did you have Covid?
Greetings, lab results posted on Friday are awful to sit with until Monday.
Call your physician and get her or his analysis. Sometimes you need to speak to the nurse and plead your case for a swift response. It’s good assertiveness training.
In the meantime…
Try to stay calm and amazed about the marvels of modern medicine. Stuff goes wrong and they know what to do to treat you.
Anxiety is not your friend. Try to avoid Dr Google. It’s compelling to try to figure it out on your own but Dr Google is a glass is half empty kind of guy. Get information from your doctor and utilize your support system. There are great “been there” folks on this board. I find it very helpful.
Please let us know what you find out.
Patty
@starrh911, how are you doing? What did you learn from your doctor about the lab results?
Hard to tell, you must talk with the doctor
