Sore spot in ribs

I don’t know if this has to do with my lungs. I have copd and two small nodules in my lungs. But I have a recurring sore spot in my ribs under my right armpit. This time, I also have pain between my spine and right shoulder blade. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Please get checked asap. My husband had the same. They "danced around" it far too long insisting because he was a care aide that he had probably pulled something. They were very wrong. Best of luck to you!

I have brought it up several times. Finally got an xray, two small nodules in lung, ct scan in Nov showed no growth. I am to have another ct sometime. But no one has ever actually addressed this sore spot. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the nodules or even the lungs.

My husbands sore rib ended up being cancerous lesions stemming from lung cancer. He was diagnosed in April 2016 and passed away 3 months later. I'm not saying this is what you have by far. Could be anything. But just take care of yourself.

Thank you. I realize this may not be my problem at all but it is something to be aware of. And I am so sorry about your husband. I lost mine 9 years ago.
