Hi l0lag0lag0b3
native kidneys are removed due to bleeding, cancer, incurable infections in PKD, excessive size in PKD, excessive protein in urine, and other reasons

irrespective of the reason, while removing the native kidneys, Adrenal Gland will never be removed

But, after kidney transplant, one needs to take Steroid tablets every day, which suppress the adrenal glands, which may shrink !!

Bala

Thanks Bala, as I can guess, shrinkage will be function of years + Qty of Steroids + overall health factors... & many more variables, (life style etc)
Any insight into the possible approx. average # of years ..
