My cardio tells me that the esophagus runs right along side the aorta and gerd or other irritation of the esophagus can irritate the aorta and cause PVCs. So my doc does link the two issues.

I also have a hunch that the Vagus nerve has a part to play, but try explaining that to my Cardio’s.🙄

Just to add more info on my above comment, I have been having steady PVCs almost as soon as I lie down at night and they would go on for hours, preventing sleep. I had been having two clementines before bed but this one night I had an apple instead. No PVCs. So Clementines are apparently a trigger for GERD for me and the GERD was triggering the PVCs. Others who suffer with PVCs may find a similar trigger within their diets.

Although considered benign, PVCs can so disturb our lives as to make them anything but.
