Caught COVID twice in 90 days. This variant is worse than omnicron

I must have this variant, because it feels like I have a sinus infection. It's been 23 days since I tested positive and I'm not getting much better.

Since April 2020, I’ve had regular Covid 3 times and 2 different variants. The variants were BA 4 & BA 5. I went completely deaf in my right ear with BA 5. Covid case #3 took my taste and smell. All three symptoms have eased up but slowly come back and reappear. October 24th 2022 I caught the bug RSV. Doctor said there’s no medicine for it and to just wait it out and rest. In 2 weeks, I was back at his office and guess what, the symptoms got much worse, seems the RSV turned into Pneumonia. I already had both pneumonia shots and he prescribed a drug too help. WRONG, it’s now January 11th, 2023 and my poor body’s still fighting this pneumonia. I take 1000mgs of Tylenol daily to reduce my fever but each day it goes up to about 100.1. It seems like each time I go out for something, I come back home with a new strain of bug. So even tho I wear a top quality mask all the time I leave my apartment, including in the 100 apartments building I live in, I get sick. So you’re not alone in your misery. Good luck. @becky1024

this is the second time I caught covid in 90 days. Severe sinus infection, headache and nose bleeds, have to get nose cauterized.

I caught covid twice in 90 days. This latest variant is worse. Severe nasal congestion, weakness, and nosebleeds, so much so have to have nose cauterized. Antibiotics, steroids, nothing helps. Has anyone else have this.

I have had a chronic nose problem with bleeding, etc. for over 40 years. (Long before Covid!) I saw doctors about it and all they did was cauterize it which helped for a while but then it would return in the form of severe nose bleeds. It was a little sore in my nostril and would act up when I was in traffic or parking garages and in cold weather. Putting Mentholatum in my nose would stop a nose bleed and give some relief. Finally a doctor prescribed Mupirocin ointment 2%. It works great! It's an antibiotic available by prescription ony. It takes the infection and nose bleeds and pain away with just a few uses. It doesn't cure it, but it has become less over the years. At the first sign of a little sore forming in my nostril, I apply it. Then, it doesn't get to the full stage of nosebleeds etc. I hope this helps.

Just found out my daughter got Covid yesterday and today she started bleeding from her nose, trying to find any information on this so if you find something out please let me know.

I HAD TO HAVE MINE CAUTERIZED, TOTALLY PAINLESS. I JUST HAD IT DONE TODAY. OTHER THAN USING NORMAL SALINE NOSE SPRAY NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. SO FAR ITS BEEN 12 HRS. HAD A LITTLE BLEED. DOC STATED IT TAKES 48 HRS FOR CAUTERIZATION TO WORK FULLY. I WILL KEEP POSTED.

IF THE NOSEBLEEDS ARE FOR MORE THAN 3 DAYS, GO TO EAR NOSE AND THROAT DOCTOR AND GET IT CAUTERIZED. NO PAIN, THEY JUST PUT SOME BURNING SUBSTANCE WITH A Q TIP. TAKES 10 MINUTES OR LESS.

I CAUGHT COVID TWICE IN 90 DAYS, THIS TIME I HAVE SPONTANEOUS NOSE BLEEDS. I HAD NOSE CAUTERIZED, BUT ONCE/TWICE A WEEK I COULD JUST BE SITTING WATCHING TV, AND HAVE A HEAVY NOSEBLEEDS. ANYONE HAVE THIS TROUBLE.
