I am 78 years old. A friend of mine is 76 years old. Both of us recently had mitral valve repair rather than replacement and my friend also had tricuspid valve repair. In addition we had ablations for afib and LAACs. Both of us are doing fine. Hope this helps. The surgeon was Dr. Boulton at WakeMed in Raleigh. He's terrific.
