Different teams
Does anyone know what the different colors mean or how you are placed in said group? I had a lung Tumor so they put me in team red. I am uncomfortable with the person they put me with and it seems quite hard to switch. Thanks!

Some departments at Mayo Clinic name their teams, some use colors, others don't. Every patient is assigned to a team (whether it has a name or not). Teams consist of several doctors, nurses, surgeon, physician assistants. Your team members are the experts who are assigned to you specifically. They look over your records and consult together when necessary, buildling a team with knowledge of your history and particular needs. It also makes communication and care more streamlined.
