Hi! I am wondering if anyone has had what I have had?
I only know that at age 30, in the perineum area, I was diagnosed with a “rare form of skin cancer”. The gynecologist cut out a patch of skin about the size of a quarter, said it could come back. “Carcinoma not otherwise specified”.
It did come back 30 years later and the gynecologist missed it but his ARNP pointed it out and it was removed without general surgery.
How frequent is this?

@sharing There can be a renewal of skin cancer conditions. I am sure your dermatologist would be able to relate several examples to you. Thirty years ago, what may have been labeled as “Carcinoma not otherwise specified” would have a different description today.
