yes..it moves around..,my hands, feet, legs, ears, and mostly my back and head..makes me crazy sometimes, and i have nothing different except that i had covid. i haven't changed laundry detergent or personal soaps or lotions....even even once in a while my eyes!!

Yes, only on my arms and legs and where I scratch I get bruising which looks awful. I am not sure which caused this, from having Covid or from the vaccine. I have seen doctors, been prescribed creams and steroid creams with only temporary relief.

Welcome Molly. I moved your message to this existing discussion to help you connect with others who have experienced terrible itching after COVID in different areas of the body:

Hi @mollymm. This very strange itch and rash seems to affect most post covid patients Ive communicated with. Since covid is different for all of us, this seems to present differently as well for each of us at different times, types, and areas. I started with large 1”round and 1” deep painful/itchy bumps on stomach, then small bumps on legs that oozed crystal like hard substance that radiated over weeks up whole body areas, then extreme hot red rash around neck with again large 1” round/deep bumps painful hip joint/ back of thighs/foot/ back/shoulder/ and neck throat area where the bumps actually protruded inward so far caused horrible gagging. Now ongoing upper chest and neck very itchy with sandlike granules and sometimes rash sometimes not with one crystal like small bump just appearing left under lip and on same left hip again. Very frustrating. Suspected multiforme erythema and dermatologist appt finally next week. Hopefully some helpful info from that I may share!

Yes. I am beyond retirement age and have never before had any allergies. This all over “terrible itching” (it’s no mosquito bite) occurs intermittently, but too “mittent” for comfort. . . . While I’ve tried every anti-itch OTC help at my local drug store, none of them appear to make any difference.

@mollymm Had covid 9/15/25. Rx paxlovid, within a day had intense itching and chickenpox like small fluid filled blisters on legs and back and chest. Itchy red rash. Could not even bear wearing socks or shoes. Could not sleep, waking 3/4 x a night from itch.
Primary md and dermatologist had no clue said o that is interesting. I rx d various sprays like solarcaine and benzocaine and was going through thru a can every 2 days. Now 6 months later post covid and paxlovid I still
have intense night time itching of lower legs and feet , keeping me awake or waking me up at night. Cera ve anti itch cream and solarcaine sprays are daily topicals . ( Order from amazon, it is cheaper. ) ( I also have some pre-existing autoimmune TrAb etc. I g abnormalities which may be a factor.) severe post covid cough, wakes me at night , so bad the md rx d an Al uteri’s inhaler. There seem to be no explanations and no md solutions available to date.
