I just started on the first 2 meds (Azithromycin and Ethambutol) of the Big 3 and will begin Rifampin in 5 days. If you don't mind my asking: what negative side affects did you have and how long were you on it? I have been extremely anxious about starting this treatment and also question is anyone really going to permanantly eliminate this disease from our bodies? I can't live in a bubble in order to cure this and I read all the ups and downs people go through mentally. Trying to stay positive but it is very overwhelming.

I was on the 3 twice both for 18 months each. With a couple year gap in between. I tolerated the meds really well. Am on them again for the third time. But having done issues. Waiting to talk to doc on Monday.
Try them out and see. Hopefully you’ll not be too bad.

I understand what you’re saying. I’ve been going through this for eight years now some days I feel it’s getting worse some days I feel it’s getting better. I’ve started visualization and trying to manifest the healing myself every time before I go to bed I envision my lungs as clear and perfect and healed. I envision myself, climbing mountains, running marathons, visiting foreign countries and walking through all the markets
