Allergic reaction to the TKR

What type of tests do you need to see if you are allergic to the TKR metal or cement. Still in pain after four years.

@yorkielover Hello and welcome to Connect. I don't have a knee replacement, but I believe I was allergic to titanium plates I had after an ankle fracture. I had them removed and the pain stopped. I also had hives for months, and that stopped too.

Here is a lab in Chicago where you can have testing for reactions to implants.

You can also look at treatment information for implant reactions at this practice. It's founder started the field of environmental medicine. The Environmental Health Center Dallas https://www.ehcd.com/
