It can be nerve-wracking to start a new drug while pregnant. But as you likely know ventricular tachycardias (VT) can cause concern for the well-being of both the mother and the fetus.

Did your daughter's Non-Sustained Ventricular Tachycardia (NSTV) start while pregnant or excerbated by pregnancy? Has her cardiologist coordinated with her PCP or gynecologist about taking metoprolol?

She had the symptoms pre-pregnancy but was told it was PACs and had a number of episodes where she passed out. This cardiologist diagnosed it as NSTV and yes she has talked to her OB.
