TKR Revision need surgeon who listens/ Jacksonville
I want to make an appt but hear dates may be backlogged and also dont know who to request. Has anyone had good luck with a tricky revision and had a surgeon with good bed side manners. My own surgeon refused to listen that I have tissue problems and have been in pain since my surgery 7 months ago. I have to travel 3.5 hours each way but its worth it to find competent doctors. Thoughts Please...

You do not need to request a surgeon. Mayo Clinic specialists work as teams. No matter which TKR expert you are assigned to, you will have the benefit of a team approach and the collective knowledge of multiple specialists.
I believe that fellow members @roux1 @debbraw @user_ch3aef5aa may have knee replacement experience at Mayo in Jacksonville.

1 ReactionDon’t know how far this would be for you but he is an awesome surgeon. Just got out of the military last summer and did both a reverse total shoulder and a total knee replacement on me . He is awesome and listens, answers any and all questions, highly recommend him!
