MANY THANKS TO OUR MENTORS!
As we close out year 2022, I'd like to offer a huge "thank you" to our mentors who have helped guide us through the difficulty of dealing with peripheral neuropathy. In the year of so that I've been a member, I learned more about peripheral neuropathy than I would have ever learned on my own thanks to the information provided by our mentors. Again, many thanks to all the mentors and keep up the good work! Ed

Good evening Ed. I sure appreciate your gratitude message. And I have to tell you that I am always glad to read your responses. You are a great example of a member who becomes involved and adds your own experiences to the neuropathy issues. That is the way your neuropathy education and experience help other members step up and share their reactions and questions. In fact, because knowledge is power, it is important that you have faith in the Connect mentors. You have taken on the battle with this condition and are willing to share it with others.
Thank you. And before I say goodnight, I would like to ask you if you are ready to give yourself a "Quality of Life" Holiday gift. We all deal with some overwhelming medical issues. Now it is time to reward yourself. Is there something you have been yearning to experience? Perhaps you love the theater. Do you already have tickets for the first 2023 opening? Is there a helpful tool that has just come on the market and would help you with yardwork or even snow removal? You deserve it. So get ready to reward yourself for being a super supporter of the Connect forum.
Happy New Year!
Chris
Ed - Well said and perfect time to refelect and thank them. From providing information, ideas, experience, coaching, and tips on trying to keep us positive (which at times I’m sure that’s like herding cats), our leadership & support team is awesome. I too have been blessed by having them put discussions together to link us with fellow members to help aid us in sorting through what we might be able to try and understand things to help our individual journeys. Thanks to all of the and to all contributors who’ve helped me!
I gave a shout out to mentors earlier in the month on another thread, but I'll add a loud standing ovation to them here. I'm grateful for them keeping things civil, on track, informative and (most importantly) supportive. I also would like to thank all those who have shared their stories. Happy New Year, Everyone. May 2023 be good to you!
I just want to add my thanks to Mayo Clinic’s Connect and to the great mentors who answer our questions and guide us. Hope the New Year brings peace and hope to all the above and to my fellow members. Will continue to follow daily. ✌️bcool123
I add my thank you to this also. Happy New Year to all.
Chris - Thanks so much for your kind words! It's funny, I never heard of Mayo Connect and last year, my wife said that she saw information about a website called Mayo Clinic Connect. In Dec 2021, I went on to Connect and felt finally, I found other people that have what I have. Thanks again and Happy New Year!
I want to add my thanks to our mentors with a special thanks to John Bishop for pointing us to the information on the website of the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy. May you all have a great year ahead!
Tom

AGAIN, MANY THANKS!! As we close out another year, I would like to offer a warm "thank you" to our mentors who continue to guide us through the many issues in dealing with peripheral neuropathy. Our mentors have earned my respect with their knowledge of this disease and how to best cope with PN. Please continue to offer your guidance and again, keep up the good work.
