Dana, I was there - where your brother is: in the hospital at Mayo for 2 weeks after being transferred from ICU in Kentucky. Tell him and your parents that I am holding him in my thoughts as he finishes his tests, and I hope that he is able to be listed for a transplant.
Your parents must be beyond worried and confused by all of the medical terminology. It is not easy on the patient or the family. I can honestly say that he is in the best possible place right now.

Thank you Rosemary. A day ago my brother was officially placed on the active transplant list. I don't know what all that means, except that it's important. He's been moved to a different part of Rochester. Could you please personally message me?
