Going for pre-ops for esophagectomy

I can surely understand your wanting to know what to expect after your esophagectomy. We have several members who have discussed their post-surgery experience in a discussion on Connect. I'm wondering if your doctor has explained the extent of the surgery you are having. Has he given you any timelines for your recovery as far as eating, etc.?

I go to Indy on Wednesday to do that.
