Pain in the butt - Can't sit down

I also had horrific pain in this area! Sitting was horrible, felt like I was sitting on a hot poker and when I would get up the poker was being pulled out. Had MRI and it showed a cracked Tailbone!!!! What it did not show was a broken tailbone that was hanging by a thread. This was found when I had surgery to remove tailbone!

Oh! Ouch! Is sitting easier without a tailbone? Have tail bone pain but no diagnosis of anything especially when I mention that both hips have had total replacements and revisions due to Ehleurs Danlos not permitting calcium into bones to cement implants. Sometime it hurts when lying down, no pressure. Good luck! Maybe there needs to be better insight into the control of inflammation
