Hi jala! I started experiencing constipation and abdominal pain that got progressively worse when I was 23. It really is overwhelming, I feel like I’m still reeling from the diagnosis. What helped me with feeling like a burden was thinking about how if it were my loved ones, I would dedicate myself to contributing to their healing without feeling like they are a burden, and trying to take that leap of faith in trusting that they feel the same about me.
