@pcjaparis Typically, we want to look at trends in our blood tests, rather than a specific date we get tested. There are a couple of reasons for that. Our level of hydration can make a difference in the readings, as can our general health that day, and a difference in the machines doing the analysis.

As you see in the posts here, things can change for us on a wek-by-week basis. Some dsys we feel great, other days, not so much. Keeping adequate hydration, eating healthily [sometimes a challenge this time of year, right!?], moderate exercise, reducing our stress levels as much as possible, all play into our general health, let alone our kidney health. And if we have other health issues, they need to be addressed also. It's a balancing act.

@poon I had an email this morning from DaVita, one of the main players in kidney health websites. They were speaking about kidney care classes, so here is the link they had. You may find that getting some education from them will go a long way in answering some of your questions and concerns. And, remember, I am here is you have anything to ask.
