Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC): Time till surgery?
My diagnosis was on 11/4/22 of IDC Grade 1 ER+ HR-negative. Very slow growing according to my surgeon and mammo says this...
Within the LEFT breast at 2:00, 4-5 cm from the nipple, there is an irregular densely shadowing hypoechoic mass with
adjacent (up to approximately 1 cm away) satellite masses; overall mass/satellites in aggregate extend 3.5 cm on anti-radial
plane of scanning. The largest discrete mass measures 1.4 cm. No additional suspicious lesion in the radian.
Is this considered Luminal, due to the term spiculatd on my mammogram.
My original surgery was scheduled for 1/4 it has been moved to 2/6, should i be worried about that? Should i have picked the earlier dates, they offered. I feel like i made a bad choice.
Appreciate anyones thoughts on this, and thanks in advance for your help!

Frogjumper, I echo the comments that encourage you to get it done earlier rather than later. The anxiety waiting will do you no good. Also the sentinel node cut was the most annoying (at least for me)...couldnt raise my arm and couldnt lift anything for a bit.
Good luck to you. It will be ok.
Diagnosed in August at the ultrasound with 3 masses in my left breast. The radiologist told me that at least one was cancer. Had the surgery on November 14th, unilateral mastectomy, aesthetic flat.
After my diagnosis I started alternative treatments: blue scorpion venom, Chinese herbs tea, diet plant based, vitamin C intravenos, RS canabis oil, and a lot of prayers.
My two cancerous tumors shrunk before the surgery from 2.6 cm to 1.6 cm and the second one from 1.0 to 0.9 cm.
