Hi, Wang Ning :
Can understand your torment. I went through that. At my worst tinnitus, the ENT doctor gave me Xanax, a tranquilizer, to calm it so I can sleep…! But that is not a good path so I tried my very best to ignore it and carry on with my life.
Sorry that I can’t find the acupuncturist I mention. I saw him more than 20 years ago in Edmonton, Canada. I’ve moved to live in another province for a long time. I can’t find any information about him online now. Anyway, his name is 張仁康. Beside acupuncture, he also felt my pulse and prescribed Chinese herbs.
May I know why your ear doctor doesn’t recommend acupuncture? Trust me, the best acupuncturists are in China. I still think that you can seek consultation with a good acupuncturist in Xian to see how he views your tinnitus condition.

Thank you very much
I went to two doctors
The first doctor prescribed ginkgo biloba extract
A second doctor recommends voice therapy.
Yes, my doctor has not advised me to wear hearing aids.
Sorry I am not familiar with stress management and breathing management.
This link should take you to a recommended stress management breathing exercise. It is not guaranteed to eliminate tinnitus, but it may help eliminate some of the stress you are under. I know you had trouble opening a link I sent earlier, so not sure this will work.
Rhythmic breathing exercise can help a person relax. A good thing when under stress.
In my opinion..I have had tinnitus for over 30 years...been to numerous doctor and had test etc...noone can really tell you the reason for it...noone can help either...no cure....it is sad ....
Hello, I live and work in China. I have been suffering from tinnitus for 10 years. During this period, I have been to many top hospitals in China, but there is no good treatment at present. My classmates told me that there may be newer technologies and treatments in the United States. There are many excellent hospitals in the United States. I would like to know how tinnitus is treated in the United States.
Sorry about your tinnitus. I have had it for over 30 years. I have acquired a lot of information from the American Tinnitus Association so you can do a search and find them on the internet. I actually live in Canada in Montreal where the university hospitals are aware of the problem that tinnitus poses for millions of people. But the United States and Israel have dealt with the problem of war veterans returning from war with tinnitus because of the noise. However I have not heard of any cure or relief from tinnitus. Personally I used tinnitus maskers combined with hearing aids that helps relieve the sound of tinnitus. Also nature sounds downloaded to my electronic devices also provide some relief. Sorry I cannot be of any more help to you.
You may find some helpful information at the link below. The Hearing Health Foundation is a research organization. Tinnitus is on their 'radar', but this condition remains a mystery for the most part. Sometimes diet can make a difference. There are masking devices that some get help from. Stress management techniques may also help. Good luck to you. Let us know if you find help of any kind. Millions of people are waiting for answers on this one.

I have had these tests when i had Meniers. My tinitus was horrible and distracting. I think mine is worse when i drink sodas or eat out and too much salt. If the white noise distracts your mind that is helpful.
There is no cure for tinitus but you can learn to ignore it.
