Everyone is different. It doesn't work for me. But I know people who say it helps their pain

1 ReactionI tried full spectrum CBD tincture and balm, and neither helped me at all. Decided to bite the bullet and get my medical marijuana card, and the tincture and balm I use now help me a lot.
I use only the Indica strain, which is the best strain for pain, according to my research.
I recently found out about Delta-8, and checked that it's legal in my state. I'm going to be trying Delta-8 tincture and balm, and if it helps, I'm going to use that instead of Delta-9. That would allow me to stop paying for my medical marijuana card and doctor, which would save me a bunch of $$$.
If anyone has used Delta-8 tincture or balm, I'd be very interested in hearing your experience, if you'd care to share it.
Thanks and best wishes to all,
Cookie

4 ReactionsI am certainly no expert but have been reading about medical weed for pain and anxiety. Years ago I used to get sick when I smoked. So stopped for 20 years. Started w edibles but it could take 30-90 minutes for liftoff. Now I vape and microdose. A little at a time until the desired effect. During the day I use enough to begin to relax me but not high. Before bed I get high to sleep and wind down
Just an fyi. Delta 8 is not nearly as good as delta 9 and thco. Equal parts thc and cbd are known to be used for pain. Slow and steady
The absolute best site to learn is called Leafly. You don’t need a medical license to access the above mentioned. Many local gas stations now sell this and it’s legal because a loophole in some federal farm bill. Write down the brands etc and look it up on leafly I.e., gorilla glue strain and you can learn

7 ReactionsYou can buy thc cbd in local stores that sell hemp. Gas stations and headshops. There’s a federal farm bill that permits sale if less than 3% of the total so a gummies regardless of potency. So the actual drug is less than 3% of the total candywrite down the brands they sell and look it up on leafly to inquire about brand and product

1 ReactionWhile not as effective as oxycodone for my nighttime gut pain, I've found that medical cannabis is somewhat helpful in letting me get to sleep. And I'm willing to take it more often. What has worked best for me so far is a 3CBD:1THC mint that can be dissolved under the tongue, started about a half hour before bedtime. I've tried a vape pen which was quicker-acting but find it irritates my throat. I also tried an oil-based tincture that tasted terrible and took forever to kick in. (This is all legal, even recreationally, in my state.)

1 ReactionTHC can cause anxiety. Regular CBD hemp may not. It's not cheap even over the counter.

1 ReactionFor how long was your trial? It took me a year of trial and error between THC and CBD strains and strengths. I now have a regime that works very well for me as do a few others on this site. I wish you good fortune in finding your sweet spot. Consider that it took your body a very long time to deteriorate or breakdown to where you are today. Why do you feel a treatment for your pain should occur over night?
