So, it's been a few months since I had this feeling and lately it's always present 24-7. I have difficulty breathing automatically and always feel like there's too much air going into my nose. It makes me really stressed. I feel a bit relief when I cover my nostril with something to add some air resistance. I had a CT scan which showed that my turbinates slightly atropied because of my chronic rhinitis. Can someone help me, it's really hard to sleep and live thru the day with this condition..My doc only told me to keep using saline rinse to deal with my problem

Get a second opinion. And a CT doesn’t show atrophy, that would be seen on endoscopy visually.

Address your stress/anxiety and ongoing sinusitis.

Not sure if you had used nasal sprays in the past for sinusitis, but they can cause this feeling as well.
