I was first diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and had hypo thyroid. Within a year I was diagnosed with Graves and got hyper thyroid. I was on And anti-thyroid medication for 18 months and did it correct itself. I went in to my endocrinologist every three months for bloodwork as he said that most commonly re-lapses happen within two years. Three years later my graves went active again. And I’m back on Methimazole 5ml 1x day. I have also made dietary changes to help with side effects and find being gluten free has been a game changer. I had terrible brain fog, fatigue, joint muscle pain. My symptoms are 90% better with diet change. I recently went on vacation and for two months after fried sugar and all things gluten back into my diet. In those terrible symptoms all came back.

Hello,
I have just been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Im convinced things like this can be improved with food. Are you suggesting GF and generally just clean eating? I would be keen to hear from anyone who had recommendations.

I am not sure but have you discussed the digestive tracts absorption being an issue??? Quite often there are multiple autoimmune issues. Specific issues in your gut may jack around with the absorption of medicines and food.
