Hi @maya8238, I'm thinking of you and all the worrisome tests that you're going through. I'd like to put your mind at ease about a few things I learned when my dad was diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
Colorectal cancer grows very slowly. During the month that it took to get the colonoscopy, the tumor likely didn't grow in size significantly. Tumors typically grow from the inside the colon from a polyp forming a lump and only slowly work their way through the multiple layers of the colon. This article from the National Cancer Institute explains and illustrates things well.

So, it is quite possible that the tumor has not spread. Whatever the stage, you are taking care of it now and have a team on your side. Treatments are effective.
If you're comfortable doing so, we'll all be interested in hearing what you learn from tomorrow's CT scan. And, we're here if you just need to talk during the waiting times. They're the worst.
