Do side effects of Hormone therapy get better in time?
Just wanted to hear any experiences whether the side effects of antihormone therapy get better in time? What experiences Do you have? Habe severe depression and antidepressants don't work. But I have to take antihormone meds because I am a high risk Patient. I have already tried letrozole and Tamoxifen. Now on exemestane. I should take abemaciclib alongside with it but cannot take it due to the side effects😞.

My Dr told me specifically to take exemestane with a meal. I’ve had no problems with nausea or any other side effects.
I WAS HOSPITALIZED AS THE RESULT OF A VERY BAD REACTION TO CHEMO DRUG.
Dr. WANTS TO KEEP ME ON THE CHEMO DRUG AT A LOWER DOSE, and I AM SAYING NO.
CAN I JUST STAY ON EXEMESTANE ONLY, WITHOUT CHEMO DRUGS?
ANYBODY DOING THE SAME?
I appreciate the info here re considering alternate days of Rx, hand joint pain, etc - have been on Exemestane for 3 yrs after intolerant of Anastrozole. Sudden onset of trigger thumb and wrist ligament problems - wonder if all connected. Also just read that Ca treatment with hormone blockers can affect earlier onset of dementia - anyone else have that information? So far all these side effects have been awful; that one, if true, with my initial low risk of recurrence dx might be the game changer/stopper. Thanks to all of you for insights past & future.
