I am almost 76 y.o. I have been diagnosed with lichen plantus. It started on the right leg and is now affecting my left leg and scalp. The itching is almost unbearable. I am open for any suggestions on how to control or even heal this skin disorder. I have been seeing a dermatologist but nothing seems to work. I am taking doxycycline and using a cream to stop the itching. No positive results. Thank you in advance for any advise you may provide me.
