3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg white
2 1/2 cups scalded milk
Mix together eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Stir well. Blend in the scalded milk. For more yellow color, add few drops yellow food coloring.

@equestrian, I would highly recommend seeing an oncology dietitian. An oncology dietitian can work with you and family members to find ways to incorporate foods that are higher in calories based on the food preferences of your family member. Your oncology provider can order a dietitian consult. At Mayo Clinic dietitians can see patients in person or virtually which is really nice if the patient does not live in the same city where they are getting oncology care.

Thank you all for your replies.
I will recommend the ONCOLOGY DIETITIAN to him.
He currently can only handle drinking a little BOOST. That is why I asked for "THIN liquid recipes to help him gain weight". Next week they are going to perform an esophageal balloon dilation. This will hopefully make it more comfortable for thicker drinks (food) to pass.
