Buccal mucosa cancer.

I have a knot on my inner cheek that's been there for a week now and has not subsided. It's at no biting point in my mouth. When I do touch it, its sore to the touch but does not have a open sore at this time. Any guidance or information on this would be great.

It sounds like you've done some Internet searching and found that one possible cause of this symptom might be buccal mucosa cancer. Before you get overly worried, I might suggest consulting with a medical professional.
