Also high in SPINACH, swiss chard, buckwheat, beets, peanut butter, navy beans and almonds as far as I know. Please correct me if I am wrong. My Kaiser nutritionist doubts they are relevant to anything but calcium based kidney stones. Others (including me) suspect they are relevant to osteoporosis.
You should inform yourself on Oxalates, Lectins, Salicylates, and Histamine Intolerance. A lot of folks with IBS have Mast Cell Activation and don’t even know it. But the first one to eliminate is always gluten! In Ireland for example , they “could paper the medical offices w “IBS” scripts. It’s all gluten intolerance, as they see it, as there is a genetic marker in a very high percentage of Irish, and the British Isles.
With IBS unless a person is dx with celiac they can have gluten.
It’s the fructan in the gluten that is bothersome. Usually having sourdough bread low fermented works for ibs. Again each person has different food triggers.

What is suggested for mast cell then a highly restrictive diet?
Yes!….and it’s trial and error as each person has a different chemical balance of tolerance.
