i have been suffering for years and everyone thinks im crazy and wants to put me in impatient treatment for anxiety when im just sick, im on waiting list for mayo but its not for a long time. im praying but im losing hope more and more.

ty, i really hope so. i pray 24/7 i can barely eat and have chronic eye straighn headache so im always in pain. im really scared though. my appt is nov and theres no way to get in sooner and no one realizies im really sick and its getting worse over years and they wanna impatient me in sept but i dont wanna go there after dealing with a previous bad experience at a hospital and i want experts at mayo to hopefully help me. my faith is majorly being tested lately.
You no at times I think that our faith is tested and we are at times challenged more that we should be . But I also beleive that this makes us stronger and in the end our faith will continue to give us the strength that we need. I can tell that your scared and it's so not a good feeling I know this. Not every experience with a hospital has to be a bad one maybe you should trust and go earlier. I have had not so good experiences over the years too, but I have also had excellent ones to. My brother has suffered from headaches for the past 1.5 years. He says when he tries to focus on anything (reading, looking at tv/computer, just looking at anything) it causes severe pain. He says the only time he has relief is for about 20 min right after he wakes up.he has seen optometrists, optomologists, neuro optomologists, 3 different neurologists, and a headache specialist. Everyone says his eyes and brain are fine. He has been on multiple medications and nothing has helped. He is struggling as well with hopelessness. Our family has been trying to help, but we have run out of ideas.
