Anyone tried Dry Needling or Acupuncture for Pain or Neuropathy?
Has anyone had any luck with either dry needling or acupuncture? I have tried each of them one time. But made my feet tingle more. The PT who was administering the dry needling said that it goes through a cycle of pain to get better. I wasn’t too sure on that. Anyone?

Apparently there is something that works here, but it may not apply for me as pain is not an issue for me. But thanks for sending it.
I have tried acupuncture and did not work for me at all. My condition is severely painful and during the treatment and 24 to 48 hours after the treatment was very painful where the needle was inserted. I couldn’t have anymore than a single treatment for me.
Thanks for the Best Wishes. Life is difficult now. Pain has taken over. Work on your balance and you'll be fine. Best of luck to you.
Thanks John but where can I find someone to do Electroacupuncture?
Not John, but I have a few suggestions. When I needed an acupuncturist with specific skills, I turned to my local College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Many of their faculty are experienced and highly respected practitioner who still see patients, so I just began calling their offices and asking until I found someone with whom I was comfortable.
Now that our family has built relationships with a couple of acupuncturists, we get referrals from them if we need something different than their comfort zone.
Other sources for recommendations are chiropractors, physical therapists & massage therapists. Just make sure to check the credentials of anyone you decide to see, and if you don't feel comfortable, or don't have immediate success, try again. Like doctors, not all are equally skilled.

I'll be checking around today for ea workers. I'll keep you posted.
I'm still not sure if my improved balance from my acupuncture is permanent or (I hope not) temporary. I acknowledge how lucky I am not to feel pain or tingling in my feet. I'm truly sorry your experience has gone so poorly. Your discouragement is understandable. If you feel like it, reach out to me periodically and let me know how it's going.
I do care.
I've found some ea therapists locally. I'll try out one this week and the other soon. I'll post my impressions for discussion soon.
Thanks good idea!!!
I did my first electo acupuncture yesterday. Just is out . Next one in 2 weeks with a more skilled therapist hopefully. Kind of hit and miss.
