Just diagnosed with gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma. Very scared

I think I have SS

I just had a scope done on my Barrett Esophagus
The Prague Classification for my Barrett Esophagus came back C7 M7.
I am waiting for the biopsy results which take a week to ten days.
Is C7M7 a number that should raise alarm bells?

As you probably already know, the higher the Prague C&M numbers, the more severe the Barrett's esophagus and the higher the risk of developing cancer. So I’m glad that you’ve had additional testing.

Any news about the biopsy results?

i just received the biopsy report and have esophageal adenocarcinoma. next step is to get an oncologist to test for staging. i am in shock right now!

Take one step at the time. It’s a process and there are options.
You will be okay.

2 days ago i got diagnosed with the same condition-i am still in shock-i have an appointment on november 1rst with an oncologist to start testing on what stage i am at-SO MY WIFE AND I ARE TRYING TO CONCENTRATE ONLY ON THE NEXT STEP -STAY POSITVE!
