Has anyone heard about taking collagen to help osteoporosis? I’ve read several article about this. Anyone have any info on this?

Hi @sliteral, My wife and I take collagen peptides mixed in with our morning coffee which I believe has helped my wife at least with her fingernails after doing a little reading on the benefits. Here's an article that provides some information on the benefits.

"Studies show that taking collagen peptides may be helpful in treating and preventing osteoporosis. Collagen also makes up as much as 10% of your muscle tissue, so collagen peptides may be helpful to people with sarcopenia (a loss of muscle mass), too."
