Yes, Vit D is really important that the levels are normal. Also Vit A. I found this on pubmed and brought the articles to my MD who checked my blood and sure enough they were both low. Interesting articles!

You want to try a vitamin D and then re test some time later to see if it has brought your levels up. I found that a vitamin D spray or a liposomal version brought my levels up (around 80 now) whereas a regular D did not. Also if you take D you also need to take vitamin K.
