With the nerve block my hand did not move until the block wore off (5 days). I did have help with getting ready to bathe. I had to wear my brace for 3 weeks. After the 5 day block I only took Tylenol or Advil for pain. Started PT at 3 weeks.

Thanks for the responses. My surgeon told me that he does not believe that I have rotator cuff issues, but still believes that RTSR might be my best option. He will make the decision about which type of surgery he will recommend after CT scan.
My preference if given the option would be TSR as opposed to rTSR. I believe that I would prefer the greater ROM and avoiding the need to use the deltoid to power the shoulder.
Any input would be appreciated.
